i already asked this and got a good answer but i want to know other people's answersits been forever since ive seen the movie so i watched it online and a few questions popped in my head... all these questions have a sort of link, more so the last 21. remember when Rose agrees to help Dark Alessa and Alessa get in the church and exact her rightful revenge on the cult?well hypothetically speaking would Rose be protected by all of Dark Alessa's creations while she ran to the church i.e the great Pyramid Head. would her twisted monsters, if they could, help Rose in anyway they can?2. this kinda applies to the first one, Does Dark Alessa or Alessa choose when the town goes dark and demonic, does it just happen randomly or whenever D Alessa and Alessa decide to mess with the cultists until revenge day comes.3. sort of a continuation of Q 2, Why are the cultists given a chance to " survive" Dark Alessa's world.like why are the guys in gas masks given signals like the bird in the cage and the sirens to get in the church? were the sirens on purpose by D Alessa and Alessa or did the cultist install them, and same thing with the bird, did they just grab it or what?

Rose and Sharon leave Silent Hill and return home. Nevertheless, although Rose and Sharon are in the same room as Christopher who has also returned home , they cannot see each other. thats from wikipedia.. but i dont understand why they cant see each other. are they dead?

The mystery in the movie Silent Hill. Could someone please explain to me?
If you've watched the movie, the ending is quite sad. When Rose and her daughter, Sharon, return home, neither they can see Chris, nor him can see them. Also, when Christopher goes in a search for Rose in Silent Hill, he goes to a place in the school EXACTLY where Rose is. And through his eyes, the place isn't at all dark, while through Rose's eyes, it's completely dark. They are standing exactly at the same spot, and they can't see each other. Now my question is, what the hell is going on? How Chris is in another completely different world than his wife and his daughter, and the rest of the people in Silent Hill. Well, I do know that the remaining " residents" of Silent Hill are but ghosts of their real bodies. But how could Rose and Sharon see them? Did they die as well? And how did they die? The first thing that comes to my mind concerning the last question, is that they died when they had the accident, and they thought that they didn't. Could someone please explain to me this mystery in the movie?Thanks in advance.
Can anyone explain Silent Hill's synopsis for me?
I was browsing through cable and noticed that my local channel was showing Silent Hill. Only knowing Silent Hill as a game, I was intrigued and watched it. Unfortunately, I only watched it for forty five minutes or so, out of the total two and a half hour air time on TV. I really didn't get why the cult followers are saying that the little girl is a witch, and why when the little girl and her adopted mom go home, they can't see the guy. I'm really sorry if my question is really wordy, but I even tried checking it out on Wikipedia but it wasn't extensive enough. Do tell me about the entire movie, and not just the parts I'm confused about. Do help I'd really appreciate it D
